Ha, awesome

First, a bit of pointless backstory. The first computer I ever owned was an Imac. I hated that fucker. It never really broke down, but no one ever told you how to take care of it. You know, clean out old files, make sure everything is updated, etc. etc. Well, after a few months, it began to take longer and longer to start up, shut down, go in and out of stand by mode, and I had no idea why. No one else did either. Then one day, it went into standby mode and never woke up again.

After that, we got a PC. It was easy to figure out how to clean it and protect it from viruses, so it never really broke in a horrible way, but it does have random fussy days where it doesn't work properly and I have to run virus scans.

Overall, I feel that Macs are... pretentious, if that's the right word. They want to make you think that they are so user friendly that you never have to worry about them, when in reality, you di just like any other computer. PCs are not much better, but they are more vocal about their problems than Macs.

Ok, now onto your video. I thought it was really well done, and pretty funny to. I liked the part about the mac-n-cheese, and the penguin. I honestly really hope that someone, somewhere takes your idea and turns it into a real series of parody commercials to rival the Mac ads. Better yet, I'd like to see PC ads that parody those ones, just so I can laugh and roll my eyes at both.

..Hehe... "Stop chasing me, I'm a penguin!" :p

Bobert-Rob responds:

Heh, yeah... and you make a good point, with PC being more vocal about their problems. I like that about them too, but of course that makes Mac look like a superhero to the simple folk, since they think so highly of themselves. Macs have a lot of problems too, just like you said, and never want to take the blame for it... oh well.

And it's funny you should mention the mac n' cheese joke, being this is a Mac commercial parody. I wish I would've made some kind of link there between the two, heh... I'd own a mac if it was orange and shaped like a cheese wheel, totally. A few holes for USB ports or something. The Mac n' Cheese! Heh. I'd love to use that joke somewhere... heh. Someday, perhaps.

But I'm rambling. Thanks for the review, friend!

This series is...

Well, it's alot of things. Now, I haven't watched up to this part so far, so I can only really comment on the first half, but so far it's kind of slow, not too hilarious, and pretty... odd quality in the animation department.

However, I wont vote it down yet, because I believe that it has some potential. Who knows? Maybe the ending episode will be awesome? I'll weigh in then, but for now, this series is only marginal.

My advice would be to try a different style with the graphics. I like how you used the actual pictures for the lolcats, but I dislike how the animation looks choppy and kind of shares the style of "first season" South Park.

The sound is good, but it really needs some kind of background music, or generaly more ambience to make it catchy. Otherwise it seems to drag a bit during quite times.

As for humor, well, honestly, it needs more. Much more.

Oh, and to Joe-kick-ass: These movies ARE being submitted on Caturday! Dont you know? Every day is Caturday!

you really should make the one...

its a good thing i watched this before i went to your website, cause then i knew how all your characters would move and sound and it made the experience soo much funnier. you should make the one where your character is doing his autobiography. i died laughing at the "i dance like a retard covered with spiders" part! i would love to see that animated so i demand that you make a movie out of that. *points* do it NOW!! lol, j/k

seriously, though, i really hope you make another movie. you would be dissapointing many fans if you dont.

really great, but a few things...

there were many good points to this, but a few things lacked lowered the quality a bit. first off, why were they going where ever they were going? to be on a gameshow?(in japan, no less?) you didnt explain that very well. also, i know you think its getting old, but i was really execting tom to light on fire. even if you had lit him at the end when he was tied to the stake, that would have been fine. face it, some jokes seem old, but are not old until people start telling you they are. nextly, i figured that there would have been some kind of preloader game. i know you were working on your zelda game, but that took a long while to load up and i was bored... *whinges*

i figured you guys get reviews all the time that say things like "great job!" or "freakin awesome!" and other such things, so i feel that a serious, down to earth review would be refreshing. personally, i think that this one here is refreshing in its humor, but overall, i would have to say that decline 2 was better in its plot, average joke-per-minute ratio and absolute sillyness. im not saying that this was bad, im saying that it did not top the last one.

anyway, great job as always. keep it up and stuff. and i look forward to seeing decline 4... or decline holloween... or decline fall or whatever you guys come up with next... im going to bed. too tired... *drools...* ... ..................

...

decent, but...

ok, heres why i gave you thee scores.

graphics: they were drawn fairly good, but couldve been animated better. the animation was stiff and sometimes you couldnt tell what he was doing (the part where he kicks the menial ninja guy repeatedly as they both rocket up in the air) even on medium quality, the animation was jerky. i know its not my computer because i can watch something as graphics intensive as bitey of brackenwood on high and have no problems. what FPS did you set the movie at? it was probably around 15 or so, right? i would say to turn it up to around 20 FPS or so. going lower than 17 makes it jerky and going higher than 25 is unnecessary, so 20 should just about do it for most animations.

style: it was good. fairly different from most of the material around the portal.

sound: the sound was very good. it fit, was timed right, and was clear.

violence: couldve had blood to get the score higher. im not saying it HAD to have blood, but it wouldve made it more violent.

interactivity: self explainatory

humor: well, matrix spoofs are pretty much dead for a while. try to stear away from those in the future. i guess there were more jokes in there, but i either missed them, or mitook them as an attempt at being cute rather than funny.

overall: its pretty original, graphics and animation need some tweeking. get some different jokes and you hould be good to go :-)

absolutely great!

i have to say, i havent laughed this hard at anything in a while! very original, sound was good, very fitting, the graphics were unique and stylish. also, i like the hidden directors commentary and the frames in between :p

lol, monkey see... MONKEY DEW!!!! ROFL!! thats freakin classic!

TmsT responds:

You found the hidden DirComm? I'm impressed. :D

i hate people like that...

when you make a movie and it mimics a style of animation and people try to say its crap based soley on the fact that it looks the way it does... dont listen to them. it was great! the sounds were almost staticy, but not quite and in a way, it fit the movie. the storyline thus far is very gripping... i cant wait for the next one!

oh yeah, and internetchampion: STFU!

do you really think im that stupid! i know your really here to steal my secret identity and make an army of super mutants! <-(to a mirror)
